Looking for a good replacement for your OEM T3 turbocharger? This turbo offers the same quick-spool characteristics of the factory T3 turbocharger, but with modern technology. Featuring dual ball-bearings, a GT28 compressor housing, and a 1 BAR (14.5psi) wastegate actuator!
This is the perfect option for someone wanting more power from a turbocharger upgrade, but wanting to maintain the factory spool characteristics and response. This is a common upgrade for the Z32 Twin-Turbo crowd, and we have found to be a very good mild upgrade for the L28 engine. The max boost pressure recommended for this turbo is around 24psi, and is commonly dubbed the “Disco-Potato” upgrade in many circles.
This kit will require some minor fitting, as the flange is a T25. The following areas will need to be addressed for fitment
Turbo studs removed from factory manifold, and included T25 to T3 adapter installed
Compressor housing clocked for proper orientation, and wastegate actuator removed and bolted to different part of compressor housing
New intake and charge pipe worked up
New downpipe made (we include a 5-bolt to 3” v band adapter)
-10an Return bung welded to factory oil pan
