BHJ Specifies the Steel damper for street applications, and the aluminum damper for race applications

This damper will maintain the OEM drive belt pulley size to maintain proper water pump pulley and alternator pulley speeds. The main downfall of the Kameari and ATI dampers is the smaller drive pulley size. This can lead to overheating, or lack of charging output at idle and low speeds below 2,000 RPMS. The ATI and Kameari dampers are really intended for race only applications. BHJ Dynamics maintains the factory size drive pulley, so you can get the best of the performance world, but also maintain OEM functionality.
