Beau's 78' 280z L28ET 6-Speed
Beau dropped this 280z off with us as soon as he bought it back in 2019. With a completely dead cylinder, his intent was to replace the engine with another used unit to get it road-worthy. What started off as a drive-way build slowly became a little more involved with time, but the defining factor for the build was Beau coming to work with us at GRW. His hunger for knowledge and building cars as a profession quickly moved him from an entry-level technician to lead fabricator, and as he gained each skill, he added a reflection of that into the car.
As per usual around here, it didn’t take long for Beau’s 280 to get utilized for some product development, including our newly released TL70 6-speed swap.
